I want to purchase dual 1 ohm sub what wiring options do I have?

If the sub is to be used by itself your options are 1/2 Ohm with the coils wired in parallel and 2 Ohms with the coils wired in series.

Rockford Fosgate's website has extensive wiring diagrams that are accessed via simple wiring computer (punch in your sub's coils/impedance, it does the rest). Im too lazy to go get the link, but should be easy to find if you look at their site.

its easy.....here ya go......

for a .5 ohm load, wire the 2 negatives from each coil together, and then wire the 2 positives fromeach coil together. Then just wire the neg of one of the terminals to the amps neg, and the positive from the same side terminal to the amps positive. thats wired parallel for .5 ohm load.

for a 2 ohm load. wire the positive fromone side, to the negative from THE OTHER SIDE. them just wire the amps positive to the subs positive that hasnt been used yet, and the amps negative to the subs negative that hasn't been used yet.

Thats wired in series for a 2 ohm load.

Ok i have a question and i checked rockfords site and didnt see any dual 1 ohm wiring diagrams.

what wiring options do i have when wiring 4 dual 1ohm subs. Im wanting to run 4 BL 15s off two 20.1s strapped but trying to figure out how should i wire everything before purchasing all my equipment
