DTA with only 2 Channels Amped?

Do any fairly current H/Us have problems doing DTA when the front channels are amped (through RCA) and the rear channels are playing off of the head unit?

Shouldn't have a problem unless you are running multiple speakers in multiple locations off of the amp.

Shouldn't have a problem unless you are running multiple speakers in multiple locations off of the amp.

I was considering doing that but I decided to get a 4ch amp instead and run 2 for the front stage (coaxes) and the other two bridged to a sub. Rear speaks will be off the HU.

Has anyone else heard of any issues with TA in this type of setup?
