Drunk Driving Is So Stupid!!!

Thanks for all the well wishes guys. I'm not "exactly" sure whats gonna happen as of yet. I know the ******* is in jail right now, State Farm called my mom Saturday to let her know I have personal Injury Protection for my entire policy so basically they will pay my medical bills and then sue him. As far as my bike, its a 99 Harley FXSTB, I dont have comprehensive coverage on it. But it may be covered under my uninsured motorist because the loss was caused during the comission of a crime.....so things are just kinda up in the air right now. I may call my lawyer in the next few days when I'm not so drugged up to see what he advises. I have been with the same insurance company for a long time though, so hopefully that counts for something.

Not necessarily. I know with Geico I have to add uninsured/under insured coverage. Which I do. Just in case. Times are tough all over so you never know who may have missed an insurance payment. Also, get glass coverage. It pays for itself depending on where you live.
wow you really have to pay extra to have insurance against uninsured motorists...something that is mandatory in the states..........Does our govt even care about things being fair anymore?

Healing away, but crazy bored aha......here are a couple xrays from today......

They need to nail ***** like the one that hit you right to the wall.

Rest up and as others have said, riding a bike just aint worth it. For many, many reasons I gave up on that **** a long time ago. Just go buy a convertable, it's safer and you won't be risking your life everytime you leave your house, like you do on your bike.

ive been hit by a drunkard bastard broke my wifes, arm, he didn't get a scratch (that night), either did I, but i don't forget needless to say a couple months later late at night he was found in the gutter outside a local bar beat to ****........

that type of thing grinds my gears.

Definitely get in contact with your lawyer. I was hit a couple of years ago (in my car), the woman driver fled the scene. I got the make and model of the vehicle, but there was no legal registration and or insurance for said vehicle and owner. To get to the point, my lawyer went after/through my insurance company to cover any time missed from work and physical therapy. I had what was called soft tissue damage (not considered permanent). Depending on the injury you can get up to so much money without any recourse from you insurance company. My insurance ended up paying out a certain amount to me and could not legally raise my rates.

I wish you best of luck with everything and hope you heal well. I have broken my back two years in a row involving motorcycle accidents.
