As to where you gonna place them is up to you, most people put it in their trunks or you could replace you back seat with them, or build a wall. but for the box Id go ported.

If you are handy, and have the tools to build a box i suggest you do it. Or to save lots of time, but lose a bit of money http://www.gnomeaudio.com its owned by a guy on hte board, loneranger, great guy, has helped me out a ton, and builds killer boxes. Oh, definetly go ported, you will still retain high sq if ported low ~28hz, but will be much louder, and i think you will be much happier.

Yes, you may lose some, but in many cases its not too noticeable, i dont think he will be competing or anything. But anyway, if you want sealed, its just easier to build/cheaper, so do what you want.

Not with HC's....

HC's need to be ported, they do not sound very good sealed. You will get better sound quality ported, these subs have a very high EBP.

the thing is ur trunk space will be key because if u get 2 12 RE subs then they will prob need to be sealed in some of the sport compacts ... my ported box for 2 sexxx's wouldnt fit in my srt4 trunk but they are still great in their 3 cube sealed box .... if u wanna save room u can get 1 12" xxx for 400 shipped and that would be pretty sick
