if my amps would stop exploding i would try and give him a run for his money,lost 3 of the five so far but theyve had **** near a decade of comp abuse so i understand them giving up the ghost.good score btw. my car and his seem to like the same style boxes.I had one like that a couple years ago and it did pretty good.If i see him again i'll hav to ask what freq he's using my car like 61Hz

Makes me realize my box was pretty inefficient considering I had 2 AQ 2200 amps and two HDC3 12's and could only score about a 146 in my Vibe hatchback...but I also only had a redtop in the back, what was his extra batt?

Wow, just saw this thread about me. Thanks for all the nice words.

The week after that I made a small change to the box and managed a 150.4 still completely untested. I also had my amps tested and I was getting 2100 watts at a rise of 5.2 Ohms on my pair of AQ 2000's. Terrible box design. For batteries I had a 3 year old yellow top under the hood, and a exide purple haze (cheap) in the back

Since then I now have a soundigital 5k in the back, and the same 2 AQ subs. Finally got a box I liked made and managed a 151.7 this passed weekend still on the old batteries. I just swapped out for a stinger spv70 in the back and a kinetix 1800 under the hood. (Very messy install. Ran out of daylight) Still a lot of work to do, but I'm getting there.
