downloading songs to ipod question

if i get an ipod for christmas i want to know since i use limewire to download will it show the artist correctly since a lot of them don't have anything under the artist column. most of the artists are displayed in front of the title of the song.

in iTunes, you can edit the artist, title, track number, album name, etc.. so if it doesn't coincide with what you want it to say, you can rename it. ID3 tags are easy to rename.

easy, but a ***** when you have to do it so often... I hate the incompetence of people sharing on limewire... ripping at 96kps, nonsensical file names, half assed or no ID3 tags... ughh.. thats why I use very limitedly..

Get real tracks, use Gracenote CDDB.

Download the albums as ISO.
