I want another sub amp setup, and I really enjoyed my 15'' xxx that parted from me nearly 2 1/2 years ago.

I would like another XXX. I am just wondering on how the 10'' xxx differs from the 12. I know the 12 has potential to go lowerthen the 10. I listen to mainly rock/metal now days.

The 10'' xxx seem like it will be more of a challenge to get a hold of then the 12'' version. And lastly does RE still make 10'' XXX new models. ?

new xxx does not come in a 10"....the only real difference between the 10 and the 12 is the size of the basket and cone...motor is the same

If you can fit the 12" properly, there's no reason not to get it.

I have a 98 ext cab GMC I have room to fit 2 18'' XXX's which would be sick nasty if I had money for HO alt, batts cable, time, know how.

Im looking for wow factor here, everyone thinks when a 15 is loud its because its a 15. Not always the case.

I like 10's. Everyone expects a 12 to get loud. Much bigger wow factor with 10's that get that loud.

A ported 10 enclosure will be roughly the same size as a sealed 12. If you are going for the wow factor, get a beefy 10 (like my 10'' BL I'm selling) and tune it in the low to mid 30's.

I think a 10'' ported should sound about right.
