Don't know what to get

My friend has 2 MTX 9500 dual core 15", given 600 watts (I think) each, in a ported custom box.

I am going to be buying my first custom system soon, and I was just wondering what subs could maybe match, or beat that. I like how the bass is so loud you can FEEL it in your chest, I guess I'm going for SPL.

The couple brands i was looking at:

Fi

RE audio

AQ

DD

What are some others, or what do you all think about my brands, and what sub should I get specifically?

what is your budget? How much power can you give them @ what ohm load? Do you have a good electrical system to back it up?

what kind of car? if you can fit 2 DD 9515's, you'll destroy your friend's system (with the right amp and box of course)

if you have the power and the room to do it... 3 hdc 15's on about 5k watts would murder him and you'd spend 870$ on subs...

you could also do 2 hdc 18's on 2 aq2200 strapped and hand him his *** for 1450$ including amps

thats a system thatll make you sick to your stomach for less than 1500$ (assuming you have the electrical to hold 4000w but you wanted to go big) theres a guy on here i can't remember his name someone chime in, whos doing 147dB at 31hz on 2 hdc 15's on 2 aq2200 strapped(haha its mlstrass he already posted), so figure 18's cone area 2 hdc18s on 4000w should be a 150dB on music setup(install dependant AS ALWAYS)

How much do DD 9515's go for?

And also, how do the AQ HDC's sound, are they durable?

They seem fairly inexpensive which is defiantly good, but only if they are good in quality as well.
