Don't get scammed

With most people down and out there's a lot of scamming going on everywhere so since I have been making my first couple purchases off of this site I have been a little worried.

I am making a deal for some items over $1,000 and thought it would be wise to write up a contract of sale to be faxed, signed and re-faxed back so both buyer, seller or trader have legal documentation of transaction.

Maybe some of you already do this, if so then disregard but if you guys would like me to post up a legal contact of sale format then let me know and I'll get it up.

My friend is a lawyer and I'll make sure it can be held up in small claims.

If someone's out to scam they will be less likely to accept this agreement or if they get scammy in the middle of the sale then hopefully they would think twice after said documents.

Let me know what you guys think.

Thanks

Btw, you can do this with any transaction (small claims) and there are kinkos(with fax machines) everywhere so this would not be a hard task.

IMO always ask for sellers phone number and speak to him in person. This way you're getting a feel whether or not he's the real deal or gettin one over on you.
Doesnt work.

You dont need to fax either. You can print, sign, and scan it and email it or PM it.
