doing the big 3 on a gm car

how do you guys work with your factory terminals with cutting the alternator wire off and putting the 1/0 gauge wire? does anyone have pictures?

i have a 94 amp alt pushing an audioque 1200d and when i have my doors open the under dash light turns off at idle without any of my parking lights or headlights on i don't want to blow out my hid ballasts or mess them up

get some type of terminals like this that allows you to add ring terminals, they should have them at local auto pats store for a couple dollars each.

i have them from knu, do i cut the factory alt wire off the factory terminal?

do you have a picture of how it goes?

i'm upgrading both negative cables so leaving the stock on will probably will be just useless should i add the 1/0 gauge wire from the alt to the battery?
