Does this seem right? (15 vs. 18)

All the box's for these are tuned to 32hz.

Red: Alpine type R 12" @ 1.9 ft^3

Blue: DC level 4 18" @ 6 ft^3

Yellow: AQ SDC 15" @ 5 ft^3

Why is the 15" AQ competing with the 18" DC level4 in SPL? I did about 5 other 15" subs and they were all in between the Type R and the DC line graph, even the higher end model of AQ's sub the HDC 15" was below the SDC.

Did I do something wrong. I double and triple checked all the t/s parameters I put in....

Divide the resistance of the DC 18 by 4, the inductance by 4 and divide by BL by 2, and re-run the test at the same voltage and you'll understand what that response is all about.

hint: look at the impedance differences.

I have played with a few different parameters included the impedance, BL, inductance, etc and they don't seem to make a difference in the line graph. There are only a few parameters that actually change the line; one is Fs, what the box is tuned too, and size of the box, as well as a couple of others.

Maybe I'm doing this wrong?

You also have to consider the amount of power that each sub can mechanically handle in each enclosure. Sure, they may be close in efficiency when only 1watt is applied, like in your graphs, but the DC can probably handle twice the power in those respective boxes. Hell, most Pyramid, Boss, etc brands can hang with the big dogs when only a certain amount of power(that they can handle) is being used.
