Does the AQ750 do 750 or 1000 watts at 1 ohm?

From the item description,

Output Power 14.4V @ 1% THD 300X1 @ 4 ohm,500X1 @ 2 ohm,750X1 @1 ohm

Output Power 14.4V @ 5% THD 1000X1 @ 1 ohm

Isn't THD a rating on the amp? I don't understand how there is 2 different 1 ohm ratings for it. Where does THD come from to influence the amps output?

it Would do a thousand but with more distortion. and those ratings are at 14.4v enless you have some serious electrical upgrades your'e probably around 12 volts.

so "can" it do 1000 watts yes will it be doing a thousand watts in your car no.

That rating is also at a specific frequency. With how dynamic music is you wont see a full 1000wrms or 750wrms all the time anyways.
