does my tweeter need this?

So im looking @ getting some tweeters for my doors...sonic electronix seems to have some good prices...do i need one with a crossover? what does it do? Do u kno a good pair for under $30...i saw brands like Boss, *Lancezer*, and power acustic?

are you talking about a passive crossover or active crossover?

active crossovers are powered and usually have adjustments

passive are non powered and usually only do one set frequncy

which are you looking into?

try to find one somewhere close to where your tweeters are rated
