little alien on campus
Your coil is rubbing. Either the coil isn't aligned right or your motor has shifted. If the motor has shifted, your sol.
He said he's had it fixed, so this wouldn't be the case, I wouldn't think.or, the sub was overpowered and now the coil has begun to unwind due to the glue melting
I have talked to him, you can only use the motor. He's out of cones, last he told me.iirc at one point i think splaudio said that he could recone the l7, but dont quote me on it.
I know me too but idk. He fixes subs for a couple local shops so i was like w/e. Idk how he got it to work though...kinda sounds like a load of crap to me. but i dont build subs.
He did say something about some connections too.... Dont really know because he spoke in spanish and said stuff like "bobina".It sounds like tinsel leads broke and he probably soldered them back on, I've seen that on many kickers.
These were actually my first subs. My brother let me use them. I had two amps running. Once i heard about dd, i made it my life goal to own one. Sold the amp and found a dd on craigslist for cheap.decided to sell the amp. Met both guys (buyer/seller)in the same place parking lot and sold my amp amd got the sub within 20 minutes. Best day ever! LolProblems like these are why I'm not a fan of Kicker //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
