Does Gain control watts out of a amp?

Everyone has to be a smart azz, if you dont ask questions you do not learn, I bet you were dumb at some point in your life and didnt know the answer to a question and had to ask a dumb question!
smart thing to do when you want an answer to a stupid question is research it. If you are a dumbass, you would be lazy and ask someone else.

Once again everyones a smart azz, maybe I did search maybe I didnt it doesnt matter, just wanted some other 2 cents, in here, theres always someone who has to post stupid comments, keep that s**t to yourself

The answer is yes.

You can use the gain control to limit the amount of power the amp will output. By turning the gain "down" the amplifier will require a higher voltage input to output full power. If you supply less than this voltage input, then the power output of the amplifier will be limited.

perfect answer....so is that why it is better to have high voltage pre-out on your deck because then you can have the gain lower on the amp, thus cleaner and less noise??

I was commenting on your lack of grammar skills, not the stupidity of the question

He has 63 posts, you have over 7,000
Maybe you should do something useful and ****ing help him.

Its a simple question im sure you know. Joke around with your e-buddies if you plan on flooding the forums, not someone new looking for help.
How is your response, which offers no help to him, less "forum flooding" than mine? Is it because you are playing hero and trying to defend him?

The way I see it I did help. I pointed him in the right direction to improve his grammar which will improve his life.
