Does fedex ALWYAS ask for signature?

I oerdered some pads and rotors and asked the guy to please send them via UPS since they dont need a signature.

but they sent em via fedex anywyas, so there is nothing i can do now

, allready have tracking number

I have ordered 2 things via fedex and both times they needed a signature

Both of those items were pretty expensive (over $500 each) so that may of been why

but does fedex alwyas do it?

i check the "no signature required" box every time i ship something unless told otherwise

edit I never need to sign for a package from fedex, but i also live in the boonies

You have to ask for it, it doesnt come with...

After a certain amount of $ which I believe is $500 signature request is automatically put on there because of the value of the item.

hmm, i guess i can just wait and see, if worst comes to worst i leave a note for the fedex person with a phone number to call me at

I've only had a few signature required deliveries, but might have to do them all that way as I had a package disappear a few weeks ago...

Or you can leave a note telling them which neighbor can sign for it...

I always get the signature confirmation but it's basically useless. The guy dropping the package off will normally sign it himself and leave it on the porch lol. Nothing top's UPS for me. When I bought my DD 3512 it was shipped VIA UPS and the guy signed for it himself and left it sitting beside my mail box at the end of the drive way.
