it works well, but there is better/cheaper alternatives. I do not have any experience with Rammat, but I have used Second Skin Damplifier and it was a very good product.

searching is universal everywhere on top of that there are stickies all over the place that say search first

Well, one of the contraversies that surround it is, that if you apply too much of it, or in a inappropriate spot, you can actually loose db's (which this is an important thing if you ever want to compete)...for example, ive deadened my door hatch on my jeep, and my side panels....but the top of the jeep ive not put a bit in....ive seen people loose ~2 db's from inapporpriate application of such materials. But if your just street beating and want to tame the "Gorilla in teh trunk" then by all means slap that crap everywhere you can.
