and fyi, The drug war inst about supply at all. Its much more heavily focused on demand. Eliminate the demand and the amount of supply doesnt matter, eliminate the supply there will be demand and still new ways to get it. lol supply side economics..

Incorrect. Ultimately the goal of the war on drugs is to eliminate the dealers... supply. But new suppliers will always pop up, due to demand never going away, hence the over inflated prison population and huge bloated expenses to the tax payer.

Exactly. Their focus is on large scale busts (specifically talking about the DEA here) but, especially in states with mandatory minimums, you get a lot of transient users and addicts caught in the nets, too. Still, their plan of attack and their investment is almost completely on the supply side.

Poor drug dealers just thrown in jail for the immoral war on drugs, what a

waste of money keeping these innocents locked up.
