There not that bad. New TL's are like $600 or so, so a AC would be even less. Its impossible to know the R.F. of a car, each car is defferent. You need a mic and some time to find that out...

The exact same car can have different r.f.'s...Getting on a sensor is the only way and even then be sure to use a sealed box, using a radioshack meter wont yield accurate results before anyone suggests that....

Get a $20 radio shack SPL meter and do a sine sweep, you'll see where you'll peak at. I'm guessing 45hz?
