Does anyone know the power handling for stock ford speakers?

Not in this lifetime. They can probably handle about 10-15 watts.

why would one want to amp factory speakers? the answer to your question is no. i believe they are only made to handle 9 "true" watts.

then don't even bother hooking up an amp. it will sound like hell.

amping stock speakers won't help. they'll will distort like hell to where you couldn't even hear the music then die.

They arent' really designed to handle much more than average hu power. 20 watts give or take a few. If you are going to use a small external amp, just keep the gains down, it shouldn't be a problem.
