Does anyone have personal experience with the JL 13TW5 shallow mount subs?

I was wondering if any of you have any personal experience withe JL 13TW5 Shallow Mount Subs. Please post your views on the sub and any problems you had. How hard did it hit, was it a power hog/light dimmer, what is its equivalent feel (i.e. 2 12", 2 10", etc..), how much space did you give them. I really want to see what these subs have done for others

Lol subs can't cause power system issues such as dimming lights.

I meant that do they require so much power to run that it will dim my lights if I dont have a good alternator, etc.

Dude they cost way to much for what they do. I'd try an alpine shallow first or if you can find one a stereo integrity bm mkIII or what on the bm mkIV. Shallows pretty much don't get real loud exception to this that I've found is the bm. But the jl is going to be a disappointment as will the Rockford, memphis, mtx and most other shallows. Which is the reason u see so many blow throughs on here. I'd love to see a 150 out of some mass market shallows that isn't a wall which should defeat the point of them being shallow

Dude you need to stop these 13wt5 threads, this s*** is getting ridiculous. They arent meant to get loud or cause massive panel flexing or hair tricks. And as mentioned before subs don't make your headlights dim. It depends on the amp, strength of your vehicle's electric system and the recording quality of the file being played. If your headlights dim it means your electrical system is getting taxed aka voltage drop which means you're also most likely clipping your amp which will lead to blown subs.
