does anybody have a alpine HU that shows a bitrate display? i have a alpine cda-9851 and on the alpine site it shows the bitrate on display on the lower right hand corner of the faceplate...i cant find it in the manual though....dunno if it works or not....

My 9833 shows the bitrate in about the same place. The bitrate and the sample rate cycle.

well that just sucks...just found out it only works with mp3 cd's...does anybody know if it works with the ipod?

i have it...the ipod adapter it self works fine...it wont sound like crap unless you have terrible quality songs...using it-well people say it takes to long to scroll though the list to find what you want...i organize it by albums...IMO i dont think it takes ThAT much time...yea its a LITTLE slow but i can live with it...i think it better than having a crap load of cd's all over the place in my car...rite now i have like 80 albums on my ipod...theres no way in hell i could have that many cd's burned...it would be just to much to even physically have in my car

Yeah, i think it'd be awesome, i have a 30g ipod, it'd be so much easier than having like 200 CDs in my car. i think im gonna get one.

before i got my ipod, i went thru and backed up all my cds on to cdr, almost a 100 of them, when i finally get a new HU i will have one that i can plug my ipod into... and no more cds
