I got my GED and have told every job I have worked at (from all jobs $7.00/hr to $20.00/hr) and never gotten any trouble from it.

A HS diploma will look/sound better. But a G.E.D. won't keep you from being able to get a decent job.

A GED is looked down upon a bit moreso than just a highschool diploma....BUT....Get your GED and take some college courses and it doesn't matter that you have a GED. You now have college experience. I dropped out early which was like 14. Took a test to see if I could take my GED early, passed so I took my GED @ 15 and passed and started college. If you're close to finishing highschool though, you may as well just finish. I regret not finishing school.

Not true at all. I went to a local community college here for my AA degree in Criminal Justice. Graduated with a 3.97 accumulative and have been accepted to WSU. As long as you apply yourself you can get into most colleges. Criminal justice is a walk in the park anyway.

this statement is false. If you have taken the GED test and have taken the SAT, submit your scores and you will be admitted or denied based on your score not your diploma status. If you have a GED and have not taken an SAT then go to the college that you want to attend and they will give you their own entrance exam.

It may not sound as good as a diploma but a GED is usually fine depending on what you want to do for a career. It hasnt held me back as of yet. Once you get to college its all pretty moot anyways.
