Hello: I have a 99 Dodge Dakota that has or had the Infinity system with eight speakers. My question is this, does this model pickup come with an amp somewhere? I have put in a new system and used a wiring harness to connect my HU, and also to utilize the already there speaker connections. I have been having trouble with the sound in my speakers for some reason. I posted a thread earlier about my speakers not having the kind of sound that they should, along with some popping and crackling. Just out of curiosity I took one of my old speakers and hooked it up directly to the amp and it sounded great. I was also wondering if maybe I was having trouble through the wiring harness because of a factory amp being somewhere in my truck. Anyone got any ideas here?
