Well I am doing a small system in my new Dodge Magnum and the factory battery is located in the spare tire well which is kind of a plus for install...Im just wondering if I should upgrade the factory power wire from the alternator back to the battery in the trunk. I think factory would be 4 or maybe 2 gauge...Im going to be running a Sundown Audio 100.2 and a 1000.1@2ohms so they are pretty efficient and shouldnt draw too much current...I was wondering if upgrading the factory battery might help anything either...what do u guys think?

instead of taking that wire out and putting a thicker wire...just run another 0WAG wire from the alt to the batt...and take the stock battery out and put either a kinetik 2000 or if a 2400 will fit even better or a oddessy 1700
