Dodge charger owners chime in

Getting a dodge charger soon and I want to have everything ready and installed the day I get the car Gonna run 2 hdc3 12's and was wondering if anyone knows what the best box setup is for this car, subs firing and port firing wise. Trying to keep it in the trunk so no rear deck cut outs or anything extreme. Will sound deaden the trunk with 3-4 layers of deadening.

Ya thats a very good thing, will be adding extra batteries also. Still looking for some input on where to fire the subs and port.

I have a charger and to my idea the loudest on the forum?

I'd do sub and port firing rear. Also take off the carpet on the underside of the reardeck to open the height to 18in which is otherwise like 15.

Btw my legal score was a 146.1 legal at 45hz. That was with a 3cube box tuned to 34, who knows what I'm doing now with my 4.8 cube box tuned to 39hz but it definately "sounds" louder

Thanks for the info. 1 more question if you don't mind. Did you have any issues with the trunk popping open from too much bass? I heard something about that on youtube. I don't know if it was true or just some guy trying t increase his e-peen.

Delaware streets are garbage so 22's will do fine for me, more tire. Live here for a month and see how many cars with rims that have 3 rims and 1 regular tire because they bent a rim. Cool and how is your rattle, did deadening help or did you have to get into foams and whatnot?

One last question and i'm out of your hair. Did you have to make any more power runs to run your 2 sundown 1500's? My install will require 0 gauge power and grounds.

Well I took 0ga from alt to positive to complete big 3 but other than that my amps are hooked up to my Batcap which is 1foot from each amp.

did you keep the factory alt to positive intact? And was that all you did or did you do the same for the negative etc?

my trunk used to pop open. i had to get my trunk latch reinforced and welded again.

You have to add a spring to the "safety release" if that happens. Did that to one Charger last year and fixed the problem.

4 cubes at 38Hz for 2 12" HDC's in a Charger:
