You're coming all the way from NY to go to Myrtle Beach? Thats insane. I live about 3-4 hrs (depending on whose driving) away from Myrtle, and have personally seen it go down hill. I'm only 17 and still don't understand why people like that beach so much (granted, I cant get into any of the strip clubs/bars). I don't think anybody in NC/SC understand why people like that beach so much. The only reason my family goes there is because it's so close, and we've started going other places just because its trashy now. Not bashing you or anything, and I hope you have a blast, but why Myrtle if you don't mind me asking?
