Do you Remove your Faceplate?

I'm serious. 6 years and nothings ever been stole. My windows have that light stock tint, so I cant hide anything. No point in hiding it. If you get hit, you get hit. Hell, as a matter of fact, I'm at a community college now and my boy told me he saw two guys running around with gloves and a crow bar. How is a missing faceplate going to stopped them? My box for my 4 12"s is like 100lbs not including the subs, so it takes at least to people to move it. Hopefully somebody would realize what is happening and say something.

The point of a removeable face plate is that the thief will have no idea if what you have is worth stealing. Or what it is for that matter. It also makes it useless unless you can get a face plate for it. And their out of luck if you put a password in it.

whenever i park my black 2003 protege in long term parking at austen straubel airport in green bay knowing i will be gone for a week i leave mine on and always leave at least $500 in cash under the seat in case it gets stolen

i only take mine off if it's a shady area or if i'll be away for a long period of time. i put it in it's case and into the map pocket in my door panel which has a lid where you would rest your arm so it is concealed. It took me a while to figure out that it actually opened so i figure a thief wouldn't waste his time trying to find it.

I always take it off at Lifetime Fitness because there is a break in there about once a week. i always see broken glass right by where i park //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/crap.gif.7f4dd41e3e9b23fbd170a1ee6f65cecc.gif luckily my friend parks next to me who has his sub in his back seat with no tint. so they should target him instead lol.

Unless its in my garage or I can see my car and I'm going to be in and out then it comes off and with me.

If you have it and they jack your radio insurance will cover it and if you dont then they wont. Thats what happened to my aunt when her radio got jacked.

I take mine off almost every time i get out of my car (exceptions are when i'm coming back to my apt or something and i'm only gonna be inside for an hour or so).

At night or at school, i take it with me (either into my apt, or into my backpack). Otherwise its locked in the glove compartment.

I also have tint, an alarm, neighbors who know me and will let me know if someones snooping around, and audio insurance...
