I'm in Information Systems (Hospital IS to be exact) and I love it. You can't beat the paycheck either. 8-4:30 mon-fri & weekends off to compete, FTW

union electrician working night shifts... i get a shift bonus, usually work 6 hours for 8, get good exercise, work with good people, great benefits, job security... not too shabby...

I work @ the YMCA, dont do shit..boring..but it pays well..

I work @ power audio of the summers..very fun..paid well also

This summer, Im working @ open roads consulting..mostly overseas..

I am an API 510/570 inspector.I went to trade school for NDT in 2002 (year long course).

Starting pay is $18-20 per hour, and the $30 per hour range can be had in six months to a year, depending on how fast you catch on.

You can opt to take the 510/ 570 exam for $500 after 3 years experience and pay rates for a green 510 /570 are around $44 per hour.

Some guys I know with 5 years as API inspector are clearing $5000 a week.
