Do you believe there is a standard in order for music to be considered audiophile?

I believe any recording can be used for audiophile testing. No matter what you record on CD, every piece of equipment will make the recording sound different.

I think that some people think otherwise and that true audiophile recording must meet a certain standard. I believe all of these people are wrong but I would like to hear what any of them have to say because I can be wrong too.

I think audiophile to be in regards to the image, dynamics, and leveling the song shows.

For example, I'd never pick metal or punk to really test my speakers and amps' capabilities. I'd pick bands like Pink Floyd, Eagles, and genres like classical and orchestral pieces.
