do u think i will be as loud?

i was just gonna wait and see for myself but it has been almost 2 months since i bought my snailshell from powered 4 sound, but havent received it yet. they said they finished it and should be shipped soon but that was a week ago and still havent heard from them. so i dunno wtf is goin on. but anyway i should be getting it soon.

now when i do get it, i am hoping i keep the same loudness i have with my 2 12" L7's. cuz their nasty. i know the sq will be sky high but i am wondering if this 1 15" can compete with the L7's in the loudness department. my friends dont think it will, but they have no idea about car audio, they just hear 1 15" compared to 2 12" and think the L7's will win. cuz they say i have the loudest system in the city already. and i will be downgrading with the XXX.

i am running the L7's off of a diamond audio d6 1500.1, and have them each in their own enclosure. each is ported with 2.5 cf of airspace. i will basically just be swapping out the L7's with my XXX in a snailshell. so off of that same amp. also this is in an SUV. stock electrical, no deadening.

couldn't tell you which would be louder, but I will tell you I would definitely rather have an XXX in a snailshell than 2 l7's in any kind of box, the sq is going to be amazing on that and it will still wang, how many cf is the box going to be?

I think the l7's will go with the win, but the tradeoffs should be worth it.
