10" or12 "in sealed that goes LOW??

well i'm thinking the idmax 12" but i've been told ported at 2.5 and that is too big for my apllication what size sealed could i use to get low

Parameters you want to look at:
Low Fs (

High Xmax (>15 mm one-way)

High Sd (Go for a 12")

High power handling (500+ RMS)

0.707 Qtc enclosure in the 1 ft^3 to 2 ft^3 range
How do you determine the qtc of an enclosure?

For an IDMax? About 1.1-1.5cuft sealed.

And, for rap, you don't really need a sub that "goes low". Rap honestly doesn't have bass that goes very low. Most of it's in the 40-60hz range, which isn't low at all. A few songs will dip into the mid 30's...which isn't really that low either.

yea the "low" songs all thump in the 30s...

i think people confuse LFE too often with simple output at LFs...... sealed extends farther down the spectrum but output diminishes quickly depending on the sub...

All this guy needs are some high excursion, small box woofers...

IDMax, OZ Audio Matrix Elite, SS RL-P, Ascendant Audio Avalanche, W7, W6v2, etc.

I would like to add the Stereo Integrity MAG 12 to the list
