do they expire?

i think i ****ed my arm up playing basketball yesterday and my mom gave me these darvocets and the bottle says may 2002. my question/s is do they expire? will they still work? will it kill me?

Medication usually expires after a certain time, to a point where they don't do anything. It probably won't kill you, but I doubt it would do anything useful either.

MY darvocets have a one year expiration date on them. Darvocets aren't really that strong to begin with, They won't hurt you but thy may not have their original potency.
