How do you know if you need project headlights? Whats the difference between HID and halogen, or are they the same lol? I'm not familiar at all with this type of stuff obviously...

i dont really give a shit about color or bling... but i've been thinking about doing hids on my explorer for better lighting. i dont want anything thats going to blind other drivers though, besides being retarded and annoying, it can be dangerous for me and the other driver.
what should i be looking into?

4300k/5000k for color if that's what you're asking. Those are pure white. 6000k has a little blue, 8000k has a little more

for those looking to do HID's, please either get retrofitted projectors or aim your lights properly. go with a 5k for a nice bright pure color. if you want a slight shade of blue just a hint of it go with 6k.

Look into retro-solutions.com for a nice set you can go with the 35 or 55 wat bixenon kits
