Do points transfer states

i just took the class and got no points. Also the officer might not show up and the ticket will be dismissed or at least thats how it is in Michigan

If you show up in court and plead guilty, the judge will reduce it to just a fine. You won't get any points for 9 mph over the speed limit, unless you have some previous motor violations.

Theres always that chance as well, it happened to me before in MD.

ok so im going to give the MD state police a call tomorrow. becasue reading the back of the ticket it says i have to wait 30days of not paying to ticket to get a court date. then i go to court. in my head im thinking with in that 30days the officer will forget about me and then cant recall any exact information from the ticket.

im going to plead guilty and ask for PBJ. or like you guys said driving school. on the other hand i want to talk to my insurance. if my rate wont go up ill go pay it tomorrow.

depends on ur state, i am almost positive PA only accepts points from the states that are touching its borders, no other ones

md doesnt pbj unless its a dui and they dont do driving school unless you have alot of points. Just go there and say you were unfimiliar with the roads and most likley they will drop points and you pay a fine.

it varies from state to sate. Some do and some don't. Contact your dmv and they will be able to tell you.

i didnt click on all that but pa and md 'talk' to each other, md and wv dont. If he feels unsafe he should go back to md and more or less his point would be dropped, if it was me i wouldnt pay shit, but whatever
