American companies measure alcohol content by weight whereas Canadian companies measure content by volume. That's why you see different percentages.

It's by volume here as well. However the % varies from state to state.

Cheap beer aka good party beer = Keystone or Natty Light.

I cannot drink Natty anymore, Keystone I can stand the piss taste on occaision.

I drink Bud Light, Coors Light, and I will admit to liking a shot of whiskey more.

Reasons that I drink beer - - - Takes more for me to get drunk. Can bum irregardless of who I'm with(free, yay) and well yeah, it's cheaper than having to find a liquor store(I live in a dry county) and pick up some Jack/Crown

When drinking with friends at a party or whatever, I don't think I'd carry around a bottle of wine. When I drink, it's about quality, not quantity.

For me it depends on my mood. I like Miller lite but when sitting down eating a nice steak I may preffer something along the lines of a Newcastle or Blue Moon.

To answer the question yes you can be judged by beer. Not everyone but a dang good percentage. When I would hang out with some of my Gangsta friends we drank 211 and OE. When I was with my Redneck buddies it was Bud Light/ Miller lite on pay weekends and Natty light and Keystone when funds were tight. LOLLOLOLOOOLLLLOOLOOLZZZzzz
