Yeah, that's my concern. The thread West tried starting on DIYMA got shitcanned due to lack of empirical evidence so I was trying to help out. I figure Ill try assembling something more concrete and present it to them next time. To be honest, they're fair but stern and have no capacity for bullshit
in at least two of the original threads we had going, people who skar had either sent b stock to or scammed (that guy who won the contest but never received his crap) piped up but I can't seem to find the posts. If i do i'll let you know. The threads may have been deleted at this point, i'm really not sure
I appreciate it. A lot of those guys have a firm hand in the industry. Harmon/JBL's Andy Weyermeyer (or something like that) for example. If we can get them to understand what's going on, I'm sure things will work themselves out in no time.
We broached that argument and it was deemed invalid. They're not just SQ guys, they're also business owners and members of the community outside of the forum. I'm still kinda shocked that the thread got canned so quickly. I think some of the vets were sabotaging it with their jorts pictures.

Chances are you won't see one because there's an extremely large component of people who use Sundown as well as an owner of the company who actively answers questions and concerns whereas Kevin seems more like a ghost with the same recycled answers that just beat around the bush.
Can you really blame Kevin for not being more active here? He can't even post about his own product in his own forum without getting **** on. He's already lost it seems. I am very surprised he still pays for a vendor section here.
After some of the stuff we've pulled, of course not. Obviously there's a reason people are so adamant about the issue as I don't really see it as trying to be "one of the cool kids." The sad truth is Kevin would get a lot more respect if he was more active here and could speak intelligibly about his product.
I can't say I disagree with you here. It is pretty apparent that he isn't as well versed in his own product as other people are which is sad considering it is his company. If it's me at the helm I would know my own product inside and out.
My point exactly. I plan to be in the CA business when I retire, but not necessarily in owning a manufacture. I have a good deal of sales experience recruiting however, and the #1 rule is to not only know your product, but know all of your competitors' products. You know they'll be studying the ins and outs of yours.
