Went to his site and got infected on purpose. Its a fake AV trojan. It was fun removing it. I needed something to waste my time with.

Basically shuts down most running processes including access to Antivirus, Firewalls, Task manager etc. Then scans your PC for possibly infected files that arent there. Basically makes you think its protecting you, but it isnt. I turned off my wireless card so nothing was being transmitted. Only way to shut it down for me was to use Emsisoft Antimalware HiJackThis free version to shut down the process, take ownership of the infecting file, delete the temp file and auto run programs.

The file was classified as a Trojan. Usually what they are used for is backdoor access into another computer. From there they can snoop around internet history, cookies, usernames, passwords, credit card numbers, etc.

Good question MD31... Kevin feels that he is above retribution, because he owns a buisness and therefore can do no wrong. I don't know why he feels this way, but its the only conclusion I can reach. The internet police are going to get him and raid his "office" by office I mean the storage unit where he lives and does buiness.
