DMX CARBON FIBER RECONES 15's

Looking for recones for my dmx's, massive audio doesn't make them in carbon fiber anymore, so I'm trying to collect as many recones as I can if they are out there, If I can't find any, im gonna sale my dmx's(6 15's) and get something else.

you dont have to use carbon fiber cones . you could use paper cones.

the new ones are UGLY as shit compared ot those sexy *** carbon fiber ones

I emailed them about a carbon fiber one for my 12" and got this:

Hello Keith, Massive Audio only produces the new Black Aluminum re-cone kit for the DMX woofers. The re-cone kit comes with the full assembly of spider, voice coil, surround, trim and cone and are sold for $199.00

I will attach a picture of one for your review. If you would still like a carbon fiber DMX we have them only in brand new stock and on a trade in the price would be reduced. Please let us know if you are interested in the Black Aluminum Re-Cone kit or the new replacement.

wtf... can't say i like it, but can't say i hate it either... i'd have to do some testing. I've owned a **** ton of the dmx subs ( close to 9 total ) and more motors as well.

Did you like them? I am in the process of walling my h2 off with 6 of these powered my two z2's strapped..I'm thinking about selling them and going with cascade designs omega's or aa havocs. In my old set-up(4 dmx 15's and one z2)didn't hit the lows like I wanted, was plenty loud though

uses a 3" coil so.. yea it can be reconed by others.. just not a simple drop in one though.

omegas would be an excellent alt. though I think you'll have to wait for the new version on them. dmxs with stock softparts aren't known for their lows in any setup. I simply collected them to make customs after I blew all at shows or events, I was going to reuse the motors for custom subs.
