Dmm

ok well i just started probing all the cables/rca's i have. stuck leads into ~10ft cheap 4g (8g), 0.3ohm. ~6ft cheapo 4g same 0.3 ohm. some old rf rcas i got to stay at 1.0ohm , then started jumping all over again, but the power cables didnt do that. i got touched the leads and got 0.4 ohms to stay for a minute then started jumping all over like the rcas. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/eyebrow.gif.fe2c18d8720fe8c7eaed347b21ea05a5.gif

like i said i never used one of these before and dont know if they all act like that. im not PUSHING the leads into something that cant have the leads pushed into without touching them with my fingers.

link to DMM?

i still think it's working properly, but isn't able to get an accurate reading on such minimal resistances.

maybe try some headphones, i'm sure you have a pair of those somewhere. you should get a decent reading from them (16-100+ ohms depending on what kind you have).
