I wired my subs to 4 ohms but i'm gettin a readin for 2.4 ohms on my dmm. Did i wire something wrong or what? Or should i just wire each sub seperately to 2 ohm so it would still be a 4 ohm nominal load. Does it make a difference?

wire each paralell,(2ohm if a dual 4 sub), then wire both in series=4ohm load. depends on actual resistence though.

Yea its 2 dual 4 ohm subs. I wired them in series but i'm gettin a readin of 2.4. And how do you guys put 2 wires in one terminal? Mine just dont fit. Or how do you guys wire your subs cuz the only way i would think of is goin from one terminal and connecting another wire in there to go to the next termninal.

Use 14-16 gauge wire, when you are dealing with lengths of 10 to 20 inches you will not loose any power....look how thin tinsel leads are.

Yea i'm using 12 gauge. I think i'll just shave it down to fit.

Dont shave anything, it looks ugly as sin, do this: take your length of wire and strip the end for your furthest terminal and then strip that same wire in the middle for the second terminal. Its less wire, cleaner and does the same job...but it only works with push terminals...

yea they are push terminals.

I have another question. I saw that if i wire both my subs seperately to an 8 ohm load and i bridge them on my amp my amp will see a 4 ohm load. Is this right?

Option 2: Both voice coils wired in series. This is useful when wiring multiple subwoofers to an amplifier. For example, wiring both coils of a dual 4 ohm subwoofer in series produces an 8 ohm load. Wiring this in parallel with an identically configured subwoofer produces an overal load of 4 ohms - perfect for most bridged two channel amplifiers.
