you might need new batteries in your dmm.....i use 20 and you have to have a good solid connection to the terminal to get a good read

most DMM will beep when they are low on batteries and have bounce around readings, did yours do that?

I tested the coil on my sub Kyle and got a wack reading with my dmm too.

I think I am gonna replace the batteries in them and see what i get then.

maybe I should just bite the bullet and buy a fluke meter............

By the way the cheapo ED sub souds pretty dam good in that box.

I was impressed with it being it only costs 13.50 + the ride.

The DMM should give a constant impedance reading, unless you are physically moving the cone while reading it.

Leapord looks good on some things but not on a sub box...LOL I like the idea of covering it with material like that. Maybe I will put some different material on there.

what did you use to get it to stick? spray adehesive?

Crap forgot about that silly impedence thing, nope my amp will not like 2 ohms mono.......

As for helping with the big 3 just let me know when you wanna do it and I will be more than happy to help out.

I think I am gonna come over tomorrow and grab that other box, it will be perfect for 2x 12 if I can find 1 more cheapo ed sub.
