I've never owned a Zapco amp (price kinda scares me), but from every QUALITY system I've heard using Zapco products, I would not hesitate to recommend anything Zapco.

I've owned a couple DLS amps and they're very solid amps as well.

"Cleaner power" and "better amp" are a bit subjective when you're dealing with the higher end of the spectrum... If you're into pyschoaudio, you might be able to "hear" a difference between them, but to be frank, you can't go wrong with either.

Now this is my kind of thread! Hmmmm....which to choose....both good amps....make good power....cost roughly the same......I'd have to say....DLS!! I like the new Zapco amps with the built in eq's and they are a great fully regulated amp, but I prefer the dynamics of the loosely regulated Dls amps- a little better headroom IMO, and you can score them for a deal on the forum Either way, both lines kick ***.

Sweet! And a funny fact is that DLS is cheaper in the US than in Sweden!

Both amps are really solid... Initially I was leaning towards the dls ultimates but in the end I'm probably going to get the zapco references. They're cheaper, smaller and balanced inputs are great. If I had a sedan again, I'd probably with dls.

ok i can get teh zapco for bout 100-150 bucks cheaper then the DLS only thing is that i was going to run a A3 and a A5 if i go with zapco ref ill run a 1100.4 and 1100.1

Wow, then go for the power for sure then. That 1000.4 is no joke and you can run a balanced imput to both amps if you get the SLB-TP4. The downside is the space those things will take up....aren't they like 2' long each!?!?!?
