Distroblock reduce power?

I've got a 4awg power and ground already ran in to my cab and i want to know if i can use a distro block on them and run the 2 extra power and ground wires to another amp. (Kinda like a 4awg in and then a 4awg and 8awg out)

But the amp's manual says that the A8002T needs atleast a 4awg. Will this take too much of the power away from that amp?

The amps i'm running are Audiobahn A8002T(needs 4 awg) 800w and the other is a

Coustic 241se(can run on 8awg) 240w.

Let me know if its a bad idea and i should just run more wires from the battery.

Thanks for your time

~Mike

I'm doing it now with my PA LT980/2(4ga), and my audiobahn A2002T(8ga) from a 4ga in fused distro block. Doesn't seem to be a prob. However if your amps are heating up rather fast/turning off from heat, there is a prob, but it shouldn't be with that short run in that F150 cab. :)

I'm using an RF punch ANL 2 position fused distro block from cardomain.com for $36. 4ga into 4 or 8 gauge. I'm running my A2002t off the 8ga, and the LT980/2 off the 4ga from the block.
