Finally got around to purchasing a second amp and tomorrow I'm looking to install it. Right now I got 4 awg cca on my power and ground to my sub amp
(soundstream rubicon 1.1000d,
4 ohms: 600 watts x 1 chan.
2 ohms: 800 watts x 1 chan.
1 ohm: 1000 watts x 1 chan.)
Now im adding an autotek mean machine (not the new one but this one
Autotek MM4-400-RB (LS-mm4400-RB) Factory Refurbished, 800W RMS
4 ohms: 100 watts x 4 chan.
2 ohms: 200 watts x 4 chan)
So i bought all the components, got all the wire, but i am not sure about sizing. Can i keep the 4 awg power and have 2, 8 awgs on these 2 amps? i know the autotek will be fine but the rub? the only larger wire i have is 0/2 awg and i would use that have i had a large enough anl fuse holder. Can i just use an 8 awg to the auto tek and and a 4 awg to the rub or is that just redundant. btw here's the distribution block.
