Distribution block or a separate amp kit?

The distribution block should be cheaper. and ill have enough 4 awg from my first amp kit left over to use to run to my components amp. and i hear they are easier to install because you are running less wire. Any opinions?

Hooking up an apsm 1300 to a obsidian 15. and some alpine type r's to a cadence 500.2

This is the block I'm looking at.

That will work just fine...Just be sure to get the AGU fuse rated for each amp, 30/for 30 ect

where did you mount yours? I'm thinking bout putting it on the box cuz thats where I'm putting my amps. but i don't think it'll fit cuz the cadence amp is huge!!!! the apsm is a little under half the cadence's size... and I'm running the comps up to the front of the car. so i want to put the comp amp and block in the most efficient place for using less wire. the back of my seat is mostly down but i feel thats unprotected. any suggestions?

I mount mine in between the amps.Yet, you can put it on either side and just make one power wire longer rather than both, or maybe on the corner area, and maybe both power wires will still reach.Always give about 1/2 of slack is what I do, not to have stress.You may have enough to do.Im not sure, id have to see it to give you my opinion on what id do.//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/sneaky.gif.7189749b3a3f769e8815b47e8ae87f88.gif

kk. well we r building the box right now so ill see if i can fit it after i put the amps on the box.
