I have 4ga wire from battery with 80amp fuse. Then the 4ga goes into my DB and splits to 8ga to my two amps. Amps are less than 2 ft from DB. My Mono amp has two 30amp fuses and my 4ch amp has 1 25 amp fuse.

Based on that info what fuse sizes should I put in the DB?

Thanks guys,

John

Sweet.. I just re-checked my amps.. the 4ch is a 40amp fuse..

I'm going to try running a 50/30 and see how that works.. if I keep blowing fuses Iwill run a 60/30, if that does not work I will run a 60/40. If that does not work I will be back with more questions.

Thanks guys.

just fuse both the 8awgs at 80A and call it a day. You fuse to prevent the wire from bursting into flames from overdraw or a short. Since 8awg suggested maximum capacity is 100A, 80 will be a safe number.
