Disassembling a Dash?

How does one learn how to take apart the dash without screwing it up? Is there instructions available somewhere? (Yes i'm a noob)

most just pop out. my 98 silverados has acouple plastic screws etc etc,and u also cant have it in park cause the shifter will be in the way.

it takes working in cars to learn how to take em apart.

silverado is easy, put it in gear (auto) and the whole dash shroud pulls off. exposing screws for the radio etc.
