Directv??

if its the same box type. i.e p4 card, hu card, whatever the current card is.

current cards are period 4 or 11. on occasion you'll run across a period3 card. but mostly p4.

^^X2. I have Stars and Skinemax, A friend has HBO so we each have 1 of the others cards. Pretty simple to switch cards out from 1 room to the other depending on what we are watching and which room we are in.

im gonna say thats a fluke, unless they are on the same acct you shouldnt be able to swap the cards around with out calling directv to swap them in the system. should be getting one of the prev error msgs i stated. or possibly a ext 711

I also forgot, I use to have Directv, but the Customer Service was GARBAGE. I love when NON-English speaking fools try to answer my questions in broken *** engrish.

4+ years ago. They kept raising my rates too. I have a set rate with Dish until 2010 or some shit. I'm sure i will get it in the *** after that but we have been paying the same thing since 03. Each system has it's pro's and con's. Dish has really taken good care of us since we started using them.

well currently dtv's rates are lower than dish. just an fyi, has been that way for several yrs now.that is kind acool that you got your rates locked in. better hope you never need to have someone come out to look at your equip tho. dish has a hefty cost for a service call.
