Are these decent amps? My friend is looking at one to run his two type e's in his room then he is going to use the ultimate and the eXcelon amp to run two 10" Type X's in his Jeep.(Which obviously ain't a bright idea since he will be under-powering them by a longshot but he doesn't care.) But will a directed amp be good for what he is doing in his room?

I liked my directed 5 channel amp. Looked real good, High build quality, and fit well given my space constraints of the time. I would reccomend them.

SOLID BUILT AMP DOES RATED POWER, I had a 2400d amp and it was nice never got hot ,had it pushing 2-12" Mags.

i really liked their Viper line that they discontinued ... pretty good budget amps still

i had the viper d1200.1. pretty good amp. the snake head cover rattled and had to be double sided taped down. only problem i had with it. ran 2 type R's pretty good.
